Facility Usage Fees and Rates

Training

The staff provides extensive training for all equipment located within the Imaging Core (for Li-Cor Odyssey a G.I. faculty member or experienced user may provide training).  Access and utilization of Center equipment is not permitted until all forms and instructional sessions have been completed.  Additional equipment and application training can be arranged with outside vendors (with approval and oversight by Dr. McNamara).  Other charges and membership fees may apply to specific equipment, please see below.

June 12, 2024: as of July 1, 2024, we have new rates (had been unchanged since 2017), in part due to increase in iLab administration monthly charge (iLab is worth it for minimizing reservation chaos and direct billing to SAP cost objects).

Image Core Rates JHU FY25

The Li-Cor Odyssey NIR fluorescence scanner is now limited access to G.I. members and close collaborators (and is in a G.I. Ross 9 lab that may be locked nights and weekends). Also, new user training is problematic because there is no dedicated training person. In general new users should not get trained by other users.
